The Ireland Under 18 Schools team kicked off their season with a three point win over their Italian counterparts in Viadana on Saturday.

Two tries from Tiernan O'Halloran with a conversion and penalty from Ferdia Doherty and a further penalty from replacement Ben Sargent helped Ireland to a 18 points to 15 win in the Stadium 'Luigi Zaffanella' against an Italian U18 XV.
