Me and the Missus are in the Breedon. Last time we were there, we won 6 out of 6, then Payne gate....Neill_M wrote:What was the H&B stand last time Ulster travelled to Leicester in 2014/15 is now the Breedon Stand. Love Tiggers- great club and people.
Re Lowry- if Burns is out- who else? Nelson? McPhillips? Key is Cooney being fit. Cooney can also play 10.
Lowry is as good an option as any of what we've got. If he stays low, we'll get high tackle penalties all day

9 of us on the Breedon Terrace
Very fond memories of the last 2 visits to Leicester.
I would start Lowry in a heartbeat (even if Burns is "fit")

Joe Schmidt says he's hoping Cooney is back for Ulster this weekend ...

Re: Leicester away
Sounds like Cooney will be fit for Saturday based on Schmidts comment today!
If Cooney starts then I'm backing Lowry for 10."Kieran Marmion is not too far away from returning but John Cooney will hopefully be back this weekend for Ulster. It's a great opportunity for Caolin Blade to get into camp and compete for a spot.

Some forecasts have potential for snow in Leicester this weekend - it snowed the last time i managed an away match at hairyqueens last season...and we won that one. Bring on the Baste from the East.

What’s chances Hendy is fit?

The King is dead. Long live the King.
Re: Leicester away
They said 10 weeks minimum for Hendo and I think it has only been about 6 so far. Hendo, however, is known to be a fast healer. You probably know something King, do you?
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

2 more for the terrace - lets hope no more snow for the Lionel Away match - Hairyqueens just wasn't funny - well Brown was!!!
Re: Leicester away
If based on his selection within wider Ireland squad I think he is in there on the knowledge he won't be okay for the first couple of games but want him to be up to speed on camp from the get go. Sean O'Brien named and he is on a similar injury recovery period.kingofthehill wrote:What’s chances Hendy is fit?

He played vs Scarlets on 14th Dec, operation on Mon 17th, that's only a month today.

The idiots still think a big money game is the right time to see if a player wearing a target should be out half .
He’d be a target because it would be his first start at out half at a level higher than AIL and then this would compounded by his size .
Then there was the lunatic suggestion his size would be a means of benefiting from penalties for high tackles — while it was more than likely put forward in jest — it could well become reality — is that what you really want .
I have always recognised an out half has to face 80 minutes to avoid being hit by a big back row — the odds favour the back row . ( given that both Scrum halfs tend to have an erratic pass between head and knee height )
