Forgot him too.

Part time fan.
In fairness Dave given his injury record you would have been right about 75% of the time.

Has always looked good when he has played but just cant seem to string a run of games together.

When Gilroy is back he may have his work cut out trying to win his place back from young Balocoune.
Good point, Bart. I was considering that about Gilroy earlier. It will be great to have him back firing on all cylinders. However, like you say, he has to win his place back. The great attribute that Baloucoune has is that he appears to be a naturally good defender. That has really helped his breakthrough into the first team.

Rooster if the players outside Hume seem to play well then he’s doing fine .

If the opposition aren’t running through him and past him then that’s fine by me .

Hé doesn’t have star to be a good centre — a plus if he does but not an essential.

The secret is to know when to pass and how to give your wings space to run .

The great part about this is that there is now competition for places which in turn can only aid drivings higher standards.

At the start of the season Gilroy was a nailed on starter with Stockdale on the other wing. For sure he's not a nailed on starter now and will know he will need to return and put in performances to compete for starting places.

Lyttle has the advantage of possibly fitting into the depth chart at 15 where we're a little thin behind Louis.

Are Benetton's 6N squad members available?

Probably only Ireland will have players unavailable before the 6 Nations even starts.

Was thinking that. I'd imagine Benetton were near full strength for the 2 euro games given they were still in the mix so their internationals might not be too fresh come 6N if they play on Fri.

Apparently they have 19 away in the Italian camp which ends tommorrow. I don't think anyone is sure how many or if any players will be realeased back.

Probably those not in the match day 23 for next week

That is probably likely. I'm sure any starters won't want to be flying to a frosty Belfast the week before the 6N.

It could be warmer in Belfast than Treviso
