I think Dragons, Weegies and Scaaaalets might have something to do with it. Could have, and probably should have, won all of those. Ifs and buts I know, but we could have been sitting on another lengthy unbeaten streak.

Interesting too what our Russ regards as a shower of shat. Six decent teams in reality, none of whom have lost at Dragons or Scaaaalets.

So, two weeks come and go, we thrash Treviso 83-3 over the period and drop a place in the rankings each week.

Our "rating" as a percentage of the top team (always considerd 100%) has improved - problem is, so has that of other teams around us some of whom have improved more than ours did, hence tiggers go above us - their wins were against a higher ranked team than ours.

Sure it's a load of aul rubbish anyway!

Team of the week but still only 6th

The rankings of the quarter finalists are as follows:

Ulster 6th v Sorries 5th
Clermont 3rd v Leicester 11th
Toulon 7th v Leinster 1st
Munster 4th v Toulouse 9th
