Looked like a significant knee injury to me - let's hope not.

Indeed - I actually thought it looked like a bad hamstring injury. I see that he said on Instagram that he hopefully won’t be out too long so fingers crossed

The Ulster Rugby Medical Performance Team have issued a squad update ahead of Friday’s fixture against Zebre at Kingspan Stadium.

James Hume sustained a hamstring injury in Friday’s victory over Cardiff Blues and will be unavailable for selection this week. Prognosis will be established following specialist opinion.

Stuart McCloskey is recovering from a shoulder injury and his availability for this weekend’s game will be monitored throughout the week.

Squad updates in association with The Ulster Independent Clinic.

Why risk McCloskey against a side that we ought to hammer. If we win, job done. If we don't, it's going to be a long hard season and an extra few points won't make much difference!

A hamstring injury was my alternative verdict - mind you, I thought Stu limped off in SA and it turns out to be his shoulder

His injury is very serious. ACL - may not play in 2019/20 season.

So who has been added to make the 44 in place of Milasonivic?

James Hume out until March. Real disappointment for the promising lad and a loss to the squad
Another fantastic milestone for our "non conditioning" team.
Injury not even in a tackle; just running in the first two minutes of a match.
This is happening too often just to be bad luck.
