UAFC Charity raffle

Post by fermain »

Once again, Kukri have teamed up with the UAFC to give some great prizes away as part of our monthly competitions.

But this time, there's a difference. As a one off, we thought we'd try and use the Kukri donation as a charity raffle, to raise money for Cardiac Risk in the Young, the charity that our late friend cables favoured, when he was a member of our messageboard.

It really is easy. To enter our competition, Using your UAFC username, please make a donation of at least £2 to be in with a chance to win a red Ulster Avalance jacket, kindly donated by Kukri, the sponsors and producers of the official Ulster kit.

visit http://www.justgiving.com/UAFC* to enter.

You can also use your mobile to enter by text.

The winner will be picked at random from all entries received, and will be picked by the URSC at the first Ulster home game in December, against Treviso. The deadline for entries is midnight 6th December.

We will get in touch with the winner for their preferred size and delivery address.

*The page will remain open however for anyone who wants to make a donation after the competition has closed.

Just in time for Christmas, so get your entries in. :fleg:

Great idea fermain. Hopefully most posters will enter, the least they can do for having such a great site to spout on!
Why? Why not?

Only 14 "tickets" sold folks. Decent odds on winning a good winter coat for £2-00.
It's 15 now your odds are lengthening

Damn!

And Cap'n, I bumped it to bring it into the top six and new posts searches as that's what some people use. :thumleft:
I know that - yer not a bad auld sod really - I just like to wind you up

Doesn't seem to bring this one into the top six though - I tried to do it a couple of days ago, but whatever way fermain has it set up (as a sticky???) it never seems to appear there - on my computer anyway

EDIT: - have just checked and even after this was posted it still didn't go into the "Recent Forum Topics"

I'm familiar with most of it, being down with da kids and all hip, but I'm not familiar with that one.

Of course I could google it but then you wouldn't get to reply in order to bring it back to the top.

Have I made a tactical error? Should I have made 5 donations of £2 to increase my chances?
Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.
