Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

Re: UAFC caption competition
I cant work out how to fill in the bubbles and on most of the ones people have done I can only see about half of the picture.
I'm not very good on computers but from what I can read I am reasonably satisfied with my involvement in the competition to date.
For the avoidance of any doubt I didn't get where I am today by wasting money on gondala trips.

For the avoidance of doubt, this is NOT a caption - just pointing oit the obvious to knocknagoney mike ....HwoodMike2umate wrote:I cant work out how to fill in the bubbles and on most of the ones people have done I can only see about half of the picture.
Mike - you go through LIFE only seeing half the picture, and even then, I have no doubt that is usually blurry - why the sudden need to tell us about this?

Re: UAFC caption competition
For the absence of doubt I can tell you they don't sing about Cornetti anymore. I went all the way to Venice to do research for this competition ( a gondola is harder to draw than I've made it look!) and at the Campo Santa Maria Formosa I heard the gondolier sing, not the obvious, but Delilah. Delilah?
Anyway, in jokes will be treated with the same respect as sucking up to the judge. This competition will be decided on merit unlike the team to play the ABs.
