Re: Any word on the Academy?
Crothers is definitely Ulster. U17 as is Carson.
Doak is a better 10 than 9 IMHO

Re: Any word on the Academy?
The u18s six nations is on Freesports today - Ireland play France at 2.30 so you can see how they get on. Lewis Finlay is with the U19s as a 9 as well apparently so we have a few possibles at scrum half. I think there are a few Ulster lads with Ireland u19s as well [no squad list at the moment as far as I know..-think the Method 10 is with them..]Knows nothing wrote:Crothers is definitely Ulster. Watched it. Sickness in the camp meant Mckee and Carson didn't play.
Played much better 2nd half when we played more territory. No real standouts.
We had great linespeed everywhere but on our own 5m line. Leaked a few soft tries early on which left us too much to do.

Ah I missed the sickness changes - thought the commentators where getting it wrong. The soft tries where annoying. Thought Doak had a really good pass and kick on him. Saunderson looked good at prop too.Knows nothing wrote:Watched it. Sickness in the camp meant Mckee and Carson didn't play.

Where was young Dalton at the weekend? Didn't feature for Ulster or Malone and not listed injured? Has he totally dropped off the radar?
