Even though there wasn't a Welsh bid made, I can still hear the outrage on gwlad ......

Will be interesting to see who actually bid for it. If they didn't bid, can't really complain......scrum5 wrote:Even though there wasn't a Welsh bid made, I can still hear the outrage on gwlad ......

There is something about 5 star hotels in the area of the final and apparently only Cardiff is eligible but there is a wendyball final same week there so that ruled Cardiff out hence no Welsh bid.Neill_M wrote:Will be interesting to see who actually bid for it. It will be short lived outrage, the gwlad website is shutting down on 2 September. Apparently the people who run it couldn't be arsed anymore.scrum5 wrote:Even though there wasn't a Welsh bid made, I can still hear the outrage on gwlad ......

In fairness, running a fan website is a thankless task (thanks fermain ) and I think recent legal cases have made it even more important to have firm mods but the potential for dubious sh!te is even worse with a bigger forum so I'm not surprised if people give it up as not worth the hassle.Jackie Brown wrote:Wonder where the stars will float to next.mikerob wrote:It will be short lived outrage, the gwlad website is shutting down on 2 September. NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Re: Pro 12 Final 16/17
No doubt, if by some miracle we actually manage to get to the final, we'll just end up getting Leinster again.
Re: Pro 12 Final 16/17
My wish, Ulster meet and beat Leinster at the Aviva! Super.
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!

Nah, the usual inglorious Semi defeat at OarDS...
Exterminate all rational thought

If we don't win it in the next 2 years with the talent that we have, we will never win it....

Re: Pro 12 Final 16/17
We have to catch a break on the injury front some year and it may as well be this year. If we can keep the key guys fit, we are very capable of topping the league. Marcel joining us in January will give a boost coming into the 6N. It's very doable.
