Post by Neill_M »

This season's final will be held in the Aviva Stadium on May 27th 2017. Guinness have extended their sponsorship of the league until 2020 :D :stout:

Tickets can be bought for 15 Euro at ticketmaster.

Will be interesting to see who actually bid for it. If they didn't bid, can't really complain......

There is something about 5 star hotels in the area of the final and apparently only Cardiff is eligible but there is a wendyball final same week there so that ruled Cardiff out hence no Welsh bid.

It will be short lived outrage, the gwlad website is shutting down on 2 September. Apparently the people who run it couldn't be arsed anymore.

In fairness, running a fan website is a thankless task (thanks fermain :thumleft: ) and I think recent legal cases have made it even more important to have firm mods but the potential for dubious sh!te is even worse with a bigger forum so I'm not surprised if people give it up as not worth the hassle.

Just time to head over join up and get suspended then. :duck:

No doubt, if by some miracle we actually manage to get to the final, we'll just end up getting Leinster again.

My wish, Ulster meet and beat Leinster at the Aviva! Super.
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!

We have to catch a break on the injury front some year and it may as well be this year. If we can keep the key guys fit, we are very capable of topping the league. Marcel joining us in January will give a boost coming into the 6N. It's very doable.
