According to the Indo, flanker Dougall is contemplating a move from Pau to Ulster. Ex Ulster academy. Always quite liked him at Munster. Seems to have been around for a long time but still only 27. Would be a good signing.

He was part of a solid back row with Florence and Zebedee.

I'd take him. He has a bit of experience and could form a decent backrow with Botha and Coetzee. If they are all fit at the same time. Although Reidy would be first choice 7 but perhaps Dougall might offer more at the breakdown when required.

Comments in the42 thread would suggest the consensus at the time he left Munster was that he would be missed. Of course we would take him given our current depth charts.

Sure all the big accountancy firms do that.

I'm fairly sure I remember there were heads being scratched on here when he graduated from the Ulster Academy to Munster.

Big accountancy firms live on reputation .

Graduates flock to them like moths in the night .

work for a fixed Salary to produce a Budgeted income per month which must be achieved regardless of the number of hours worked -- three years slave labour .

Thus they can bill something like 45 hours a week and be paid for 36 . The Budgeted income to be achieved requires about 45 hours the best might do it in 40 .

of course because of deadlines occasionally you can inherit sh-t where the previous years reconciliations are a work of fiction and those responsible have disappear due to staff turn over .
