Pity it has not caught the publics imagination, less than 4000 tickets sold.

Russ... loads of empty seats so like Kingspan a sell out is not always a sell out.. personally I would like to see such a poor crowd it raises questions.. because our current CEO doesn't give two flying fecks of anything his only interest is his 12,000 at all costs don't give a feck where we find them crowd for each match... oh and chairing the IRFU RWC 2023 committee..

He can drop below 12000 if he gets 2 BaaBaas games a year
The variable cost of one game will be much less than 12000 seats

Can't blame the Baa-Baas for a lack of interest. That's a serious squad so far, and getting Dusautoir to finish his career in Belfast is huge.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

I'd say there are plenty like me who will be going but haven't been arsed buying a ticket yet. A few touching interviews with ruan over the next few weeks will bring out the rest.

Absolutely Ruckie, the general apathy to this fixture is very disappointing, I bought my usual seat as soon as available, I cannot understand the mindset of people who have moaned all season about the quality of rugby and yet when offered a chance to see a top class selection of world talent have no fecks to give.

Maybe the just play at liking rugby but really just seek the guaranteed opportunity to gurn & bitch when they go to Spanners on any given Friday.

For the first time ever I am invoking the "real/true fan" clause and suggesting that anyone with no interest in watching a good babas team probably has little to no interest in the game.

As you say, Dusautoir is absolute quality, I've long admired him, he won the 2011 RWC for France but a maggot with a whistle stole it from him, a magnificent player who I'll be happy to see in the flesh one last time. :thumleft:

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Nail on head Baggy, a vast majority that go to Ravenhill have no interest in rugby and I'm not talking about the current squad
