Ulster were never likely to win at Saracens. The game against Oyonnax could have sent Ulster to north London with a place in the quarter-finals all but guaranteed. It was sensible to rest players in one of those games. Why it wasn't the one against Saracens is beyond any capacity of abstraction that I possess... Justin is right - Kiss probably could have reasonably expected his selection to go out and win, comfortably, with a bonus point. The big question remains: why take the risk? This is precisely where Baggy is right. Some of Kiss' decisions have been odd, there is no getting around that. But sometimes I struggle to conceive of the gap between Ulsters top 20 or so players and the rest of the dross in the squad. I'm almost willing to forgive Kiss his own inability of fathom just how big a step down some of the guys he's been forced to play are from those he'd like to have playing in every game.

Im always amazed that dross like Daverage, Bobbo, Ringpiece and every other back 4 player at Mexico can look like a worlf beater when our players who are beyond better than their back 4 look like dog shyt

In a vague general sense perhaps, in a "buck stops here" way, but no Les Kiss, with no offence intended to negroes, is the negroe in the wood pile. All of Ulster's failure to be top two never mind top four is squarely on the shoulders of the fusty moustachioed wee man who has taken all on his shoulders with Doak first to be sidelined followed by Clarke. My guess is that Bertie Backache realised his apparent friend was a fuc'kup and bailed out to an Aussie backwater rather than watch the car crash.

The man is potentially the destruction of Ulster, not just the rugby but also our finance. If themins who know don't act at some stage in the new season - for he will certainly be here - then we could see not just the rugby but the finances go arseshaped as people think, nah, better things to do with my time.

Kiss must be praying that Gibbes is as good as I think he is, though long term if the decision makers know their shillings from a hole in the ground, Gibbes will replace Kiss as top dog, head honcho, the man.

FOLK, YA WEE CHUBE YE.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Ultimately the buck stops with the CEO as he will have signed him in the first instance.

Yes but then D4 made the shroud move a few years to plant a deep mole in the shape of Logan the fibber. He was their man the one they preferred over others. Put an idiot in charge and no wonder Dr. Dave seen the writing on the wall then sit back and watch it unravel. Knowing that he told the odd porky also helped... Kiss was part two of the plan and Ruan going part three.. now part four was just a little wind up by moving Lloyd to Munster and making sure Munster played him against Ulster coupled with the call to Kiss to drop Cave out of the picture... the plan is all coming together my contact in D4 has been clear for sometime now.... we don't matter.

Ulster hooker Rory Best hails the credentials of Les Kiss
http://www.newsletter.co.uk/sport/rugby ... -1-7049228
“I think it will be tough: if you’re trying to replace like-for-like in terms of Les, for me he’s one of the best defence coaches in the world,” said Best. “I’d have no problem standing over that.
This is the same best who lauded the signing of Rodney Ah You.

If there is discontentment within the player camp..... if, then you'd have to look at poor judgement from a man that is considered a leader amongst these men.

Trust I'll receive a pasting for this

It all goes wrong in first sentence, our blazers picked Logan and the sole voice for the other finalist was the man from D4, perhaps that was a double bluff though to cover their tracks and get our guys to vote Logan ?
