When Shane Logan was introduced as Ulster Rugby's new Chief Executive in February 2010, he said the following: "Whatever plan we put together has to deliver Ulster being top of the pile in Ireland, Europe and indeed the world."
Yes he definitely mentioned best in the world.
He's a spoofer and started the way he meant to go on.
I may have to wheel out my rubber stamp poem.

Worst thing about all this airing of our dirty linen is, if it doesn't result in big changes off the pitch very quick we have two chances of attracting decent talent here in the near future. Even if Kiss gets shoved he will end up in the same list as the others as having been ousted by player power...

To those that say give Kiss to Xmas you will simply be writing off another year in the debacle that is UR. If that happened and lets say Gibbes was given the gig we'd then write the of rest of the season off by that it was only fair to give Gibbes one more year with his own men in place and so it goes on and on. Got to stop now but of course it won't.. we beat Leinster and therefore the new season is rosy..

We have a thread for AIL, this isn't it.
But isn't this part of your problem? Seeing these as entirely separate concerns.
Good AIL sides should be feeding right into your provincial set up and be a continuum.
The good players not yet up to Pro 12 should be playing week in week out in the AIL Division 1A against the same standard coming from clubs in Leinster and Munster.
Joey Carbery starred for Clontarf in the AIL final twelve months ago aged 20. In the week of his 21st birthday he played for Ireland having moved up to Leinster Pro 12 games earlier in the season. Ringrose had a fairly similar progress.
D4 I always considered you a literate soul however it appears you have difficulty with the written word.

Your opinions on the AIL & Leinster players might in some circumstances interest me. However, I am not going to rehash my last post on the reason why this is not immediately relevant because I happen to know exactly where many of our problems stem from, apart from how irritating it would be for me to give you separate lessons from the rest of the class.

Let me put it in very simple terms. What you are talking about is relevant but not immediately so, it is not the reason we are where we are, merely an important but small part of the urgent reasons and not one that can be resolved within a few years even if someone with a magic wand were to be found. We have immediate problems in playing staff, coaches and overall management, these matters are, or certainly should be, urgent, the AIL, no matter your experience of its value is a long-term issue not to mention a longstanding one.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
