Just give the prize to Rum'n now.

It's not the funniest limerick, but it makes a point, it's intelligible, it's in English, it fits into the rules as decreed by baggy and it is actually in the form of a limerick. ....... Shirley Rum'n deserves a pat on the back for all that. :thumleft:

Well done Rum'n >appl

Oh, wait a minute ......... own up ........ who hacked his account?
Who made you Caesar sonny? I have already appointed an arbiter of what is and isn't a winning Limerick, he's an expert so you can just feck off.

That said, fine effort Ron'n, ok that odd bizarrely positioned capital letter & your th'ee exclamation marks tell us how funny you found yourself, but all in all much merit to the lad. Commendable. >EW :thumleft:
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Well good for you, fuc'k off back to Sesame Street & start your Haiku thread and give my two Limerick loving heads some peace. >EW

Much as I admire you sentiments:

There was a poster Elmo
Limericks he didn't know
Are a high form of wit
So this head the ball twit
Compose a feckin' haiku

There was a fella called Clinton Shifcofske,
Who, I'm sure you will not disagree,
Is a tough one to rhyme,
He was far from sublime,
In fact kicked like a blind amputee.

It rhymes if you say his name right(wrong). You cant accuse me of shying away from the tough ones!

I challenge a cunning linguist to get something to rhyme (or half rhyme) with Paul Steinmetz....

A marvellous centre named Steinmetz
A tough dude to rhyme but Muddy forgets
That a Baggy's resourceful
And far from remorseful
Saying "that I think wins all your bets".

Easy peasy.

Ulster weren't hedging their bets
When they signed All Black Paul Steinmetz
Not just a player was he
A coach he turned out to be
If you sign quality thats what you gets

Caesar Sonny?

Never heard of him! :duck:

How easy to get in Baggy's head
Just cos he started the thread
He thinks we're his minions
But we got opinions
And can state them, when all's done and said.

The greatest coach in the land is Allen Clarke
You must listen to the orders he does bark
He won the Tbilisi cup
So STFU
Allen Allen Allen Allen Clarke!

Here are my predictions for the match
Lots of easy passes we won't catch
Concede an early try
And give them a bye
A defeat from the jaws of victory we snatch
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

We once had a coach called Clarke
Who went for a stroll in the park
He picked up a slut
A bit of a mutt
But OK for a shag in the Dark.
