Re: In fairness to Less Kiss .....
In fairness to Les Kiss, he has two wins out of two so far.
I recall Alex Ferguson had a ropey start at United and was on the brink for a while. Look how that turned out.
Give Les and Gibbes a chance.

Hi Dave allow me to introduce myself ... Frank .... Now you need the pack to improve ... what you need is McCloskey at 6 ...
Always ask yourself, "What would Big Rodney do"... And every time the answer is... "Eat It"

He could be the next England manager.Cornerfleg wrote:Dave wrote:Most managers with ropey starts turned out to be shyte. How many Alex Fergusons are there?

Commendable BR, I chuckled.BR wrote:I see the BBC have filmed a new intro for Kiss's press conferences
I await this week's spectacular with interest. Thing is, early doors up to yet as it is, the portents are that we continue to follow the strong team at home, pot luck away mantra that served the previous regime so ................well???????
I may be in a small minority but if Marcell plays & Charless ........Cave too much too hope for with D4 interference, then I think we are slight favourites, unlike the coach (we need a banker smiley).
My best hope is: Louis, GLU, Cave, Big Stu, Charless, Lealiifano, Cooney Marcell, Chad, Big Red, Bustedcock, Tredders, Herbst, Rory, Big Licence/Diddies
BL/Diddies, Andrew, Rodders, Hendy, Reidy, Cairns, Admirable, Stockcube/Tommy
I expect: Charless, GLU, Tommy, Luke, Stockcube, Lealiifano, Cooney, Diddies/BaldyBarista,
Red, Herbst, Saft S, BustedCack, Big Red, Chad Marcell
Whatever subs you like.
Either way, a coach of a team who has lost 6 home league games in the preceding 5 seasons has absolutely no business spouting bullshite about the opposition being favourites.
Unlike the coach I expect us to win, there is no reason barring a ludicrous selection that we should not. Tommy at 13 gives them a fair crack mind you. Twice in two games stuffed in defence, saved last week once by a great tackle by JC.
Speaking of John Cooney, I'm thinking of rolling with a simple JC.
I know I should make some connection, but it's just not coming for now. The lad could be the messiah.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

according to this http://www.ulsterrugby.com/news/16481.php#.WbfoAMLfPcs we won't have Charles of Marcell before the Dragons game.BaggyTrousers wrote:Commendable BR, I chuckled.BR wrote:I see the BBC have filmed a new intro for Kiss's press conferences

Fergie was probably "economical with the truth" re resting players as a precaution too.

Wildly so it appears, that'll teach me to check Alternative Ulster site rather than simply letting fly on Ulternative Alster.BR wrote:I fear you may be over-optimistic.BaggyTrousers wrote: I expect: Charless, GLU, Tommy, Luke, Stockcube, Lealiifano, Cooney, Diddies/BaldyBarista,

Every day is a school day ............ especially when yer brain is drink-addled and decomposing in your loaf as you near death.
Clearly I didn't drink enough beer when I was younger.

Taken from the BBC website:
"Ulster will be without star scrum-half Charles Piutau and lock Marcell Coetzee, who are both injured."
High quality sports reporting.
