Jordi signs for bath.
UAFC: why were we not at least talking to him.

Not half as bad as Bakebook though, one eejit says we have plenty of back rows and need players in other positions instead.

He's got a point Rooster - we need players in just about every position!

Jordi Murphy is a decent provincial level player who usually plays pretty consistently and manages to have the odd blinder. Far from outstanding. Something similar to our own Sean Reidy. I think he is lucky enough to have some Ireland caps. I suppose, overall, he will be a useful squad player, especially since he can cover 6,7,8 but I can't get too excited. One of the reasons we are not producing our own forwards is that they are simply not getting game time to develop. The signing of Murphy will affect the progress of players like Hall and Dalton.

Happy he’s coming, a definite upgrade on what’s currently available in the backrow. Young guys not getting game time over daves is a reasonable point, but Jordi isn’t a Dave. Some of those lads might not make it, MC may never play again, and Deysel already seems injury prone and only looked like he could carry effectively in the wider channels, while MC did the hard yards. Diack CRoss Murphy....I know who I’d pick, and I’d guess young lads would learn most from. Now for another LH and a 2nd row please.

Just back from serious leg injury... tick
Worked with Gibbes before.. tick
Worked with Kiss before ... tick
Can hold tackle bags.. tick

Will he add to our starting back-row?
If not he will add to bench... tick

Will we keep Cross and Jones?
Will he push Hall back down order .. tick
Is Dalton a back-row or a 2nd row?
Will it push Diack out or down the order?
Is Marcela coming back?

when will FOLK FOLK off?

He'll walk onto our starting backrow and he's a good bit better than Reidy.

If the young lads are good enough they will develop quicker playing in a decent side with the likes of Jordi Murohy rather than a weak one alongside some of the Daves.

Both Moore and Murphy will be desperate to get into the workd cup squad and will be coming with a point to prove.

It would take time for the young guns to come through even IF we had the right structures in place now at schools and academy level so for niw signing the likes of Jordi, who will be providing some desperately needed Strength in deoth would be very welcome.
