Disciplinary Decision – Arnold ( 3 weeks)
Sammy Arnold of Munster Rugby faced a Disciplinary Hearing today via a video conference and has been banned for three weeks.

A Disciplinary Panel convened in Neath to consider the red-card decision against the player resulting from the Round 12 fixture against Ulster Rugby on January 1, 2018.

The player was shown a red card by referee Sean Gallagher under Law 10.4 (e) – Dangerous Tackling.

The Disciplinary Panel, comprising of Roger Morris (Chair), Nigel Williams and Owain Rhys James (all Wales), concluded that the actions merited a mid-range entry point as a player must not tackle above the line of shoulders, an act of foul play which carries a six-week suspension.

The ban was reduced after full mitigation of 50 per cent was applied having taken into account the player’s conduct throughout the hearing and his previously clean disciplinary record.
I'd have liked them to have seen his similar tackle on Leali'ifano less than 60 seconds earlier, no mitigation should apply when almost the identical tackle was made in short order, thuggery. I have no doubt that Munster would have liked to see him off the pitch at the earliest opportunity with a kid with one 16 minute cap on the bench, a pretty sound plan.

Oul Sparky gets a lot of airtime on the BBC I've noticed.
Leo the Lion never gets a bleedin look-in down here.
Not sure if the other two even have mascots.

The cheatin ballix stitched Sparky up at the Heiny final. Shiny new kickin' boots v big furry slippers.

Connacht had a big duck last time I was way out west. Munster have a Steg.

What birthday was Sparky celebrating on Mon btw?

Indeed a reasonable plan, which could only have been trumped by 'get the ball and feckin maul it up the pitch' altogether a lower risk higher reward sort of plan

3 finals in 4 years-Leo knew that ye don't bring a knife to a gunfight.

The Queen?
Actually this topic probably deserves it's own thread.

the Heiny Final was embarrassing to see Leo all kitted out for the shoot off but fair play to Sparky he is a simply fan doing something he loves unless UR have removed him?

Nah Crouchie, can't remember the last time I spoke to Mike, possibly Leicester and that is a while back. Anyway, I'm a big Fan of Trev  I especially liked him whilst 2 Ozzies held him and another bate the tar out of him. Great craic.
