NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Soon time for a few slices of pizza and some chicken wings

....4 Guinness, 2 G&Ts, on 4th vodka and lemonade.

On a serious note Is Oldings knee issues sorted with this time out?
I wonder whether he’ll look to go to 15 to see if he can hope his injury profile will improve. A less physical role and freedom of the pitch could be the way forward for him, I’d be concerned with him back to 12 despite his obvious playmaker skill set.

I've always thought he'd make a good 13

Do you think Ulster will take them back or would either of them fancy getting away for for season or two?

I have a nasty feeling he won’t last the distance at 12 injury wise. A good run at 15 might be good personally for him, and he’d be bloody dangerous with the extra time on the ball. Also IF Ire selection is still on the table 15 is more open than 12 or 13. Although he made his tackles in the SA test, he wasn’t winning the impacts. He could definitely invigorate the backline, it’d be a shame to break him...and with JP unlikely to play, and CP leaving there is obviously an opening there.

Both want to play for IRE....you don’t play in IRE, you don’t play for them. If they leave UR/Ireland their international career is over.....a short break now 18mths before a WC?....madness.

Both in their statements have stated they want to play for province and Ireland. If they leave it will be my opinion that they’ll have been binned off by the IRFU no matter what statement comes through the media. I hope both stay and weather the storm. I thought SO sol statement outside of court was particularly mature... I just hope his body holds out.....and I think there’s more chance of that happening at 15.

the fallout will soon subside as all reasonable observers will accept the court's view.
