Highlight of my night was the young boy who came over to the West Terrace and got a great reception. A group of English lads were there and asked the woman with him his name. Then they chanted Connor loudly. The young lad had a fantastic smile on his face. So happy to see.

Tugged at the heart strings.

I watched the backs run their set plays before the match and it was laughable.

Peel just leave.

God bless Shanahan, he's just not up to it. Where was Stewart tonight?

Somewhere where he wasn't having 50% of his box kicks charged down.

Perhaps why he got man of the match, his brother supposed to be another good one.

The one positive from this season is guys like Rea, McPhilips and Timoney have shown they are capable of the step up and have brought so fire with them and a desire to play for the team.

Is it true McPhilips is on the way out?

It was rumoured a few weeks ago he was going to an English club but gone quiet again. It would seem to be an unusual decision if he did given recent events.

It would, he definitely has potential although his defence is shaky. Will be hard to find a defender like PJ though.
