Addison safe as houses and Gilroy making some great moves but I can't look past Cooney's contribution to one try and nerveless kicking.

Addison.

Some of his passing was sublime. I think he could play 13 if needed. Not that I want him to move there.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Game lost if O'Connor didn't win the last KO, ergo O'Connor aided by a great kick by Cooney won the match. Other than his dumb penalty to lose the match Cooney was very good, so was Addison, so were the 4 props, Marcell & Norid still rusty but promising, Herring good, Hendy not as conspicuous but seems in great form. McCloskey made two outrageously good turnovers, Cave got another and great news, the ball is getting wide, never happened with Big Stu & NHL.

Shockingly poor first half, not many fighting for every inch, really good win from 6-23, not many games are won by any team from 17 points down well into the 2nd half.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

17 points adrift until Addison's try on 53 mins.

Ulster were also 17-0 down against Munster reserves at Ravenhill last year after 57 mins, but this was better.
