Re: Connaught game
For the record, and Lest We Forget, on Friday 5/10/2018 it will be DAY 21,143 since Connacht last won @ Ravenhill. And also for the record it will be Trevor Brennan DAY 4,276.
Re: Connaught game
It will be day 174. Lest we move on.

A LBP would be handy alright but I'm not even sure we will get near one. Having seen the injury list there is some good/bad news. We need some of the maybes to be fit in order to be competitive. Marcell would massively help the pack and the same goes for Addison in the backs.Amiga500 wrote:So... given where we stand after last week, and that Connacht looked pretty handy despite getting a bit of a doing at the Sportsground, how do we think things will go?
I reckon a losing bonus point is as good a result as can be expected at the moment
If non of the injured list recover to play, even channeling "l'esprit de clocher" and all that, I don't think what we have is good enough to get the job done*.
*unless Connacht implode.
I'm also assuming McCloskey was just rested against Munster. It's a pity Hendo wasn't rested as well.

See jordi is still out with an ankle problem. Is this the same one that got taped up on his debut and continued to play on? Fecking amateurs.

O'Hagan's foot injury has now slid up to his ankle.

18 injured players. We need more than a physio. A bucket of Aspirin and two trained nurses.

It’s ok. Bryn has been rifling through the drawers of Logie’s old office and in amongst the 57 varieties of CV’s he found that scrap of paper with Neil Walsh’s number on it again.Tender wrote:18 injured players. We need more than a physio. A bucket of Aspirin and two trained nurses.

Assumming Connacht will send a full strength team up and win.
I don't think Connacht will send a full strength team up.

Plenty of nurses on the terraces and in the stands, might finish up with more injures players though if they let them in the changing roomsTender wrote:18 injured players. We need more than a physio. A bucket of Aspirin and two trained nurses.

Aye, you are right, I was going to offer either Fieltys or Amigos Bar in Roldan.222toHounslow wrote:I thought it was Barry Chuckle rather than Paul who had died?pwrmoore wrote:The big house on the Ormeau Road.222toHounslow wrote:Off to Krakow for the weekend, anybody know of a bar that’s likely to show the match?
I suspect if you hadn’t have done it, someone else would.
Enjoy yer trip.

Played the full side v on Saturday. Their back-up TH should be getting a rest. He was sent off on Saturday and faces the hanging judges today.Dave wrote:They usually do.UlsterNo9 wrote:Assumming Connacht will send a full strength team up and win.

They may rotate their squad with a home game in the Parker Pen (which they may have a shot at winning) v Bordeaux next week or could see this a good chance to finally win in Belfast since the 60s.
Re: Connaught game
So given the injury situation, could be looking at a possible 23:
EOS, Best, Kane, Treadwell, AOC, Deysel, Reidy, Timoney, Cooney, Burns, Kernohan, McCloskey, Curtis, Stockdale, Gilroy
Andrew, Warwick, TOT, Rea, Ross, Shanahan, J McP, The Admiral
