Zebo has a very "FOOTY" attitude to scoring, and Nigel, if he felt that Zebo was lacking in sportmanship should have awarded a penalty start to the game after the incident. If he had really wanted to assert bit of nasty refereeing he could have disallowed the try and awarded a penalty .
Lack of Sportmanship -- and even gamesmanship is a thing that has slowly crept into rugby and its time that players were brought down to earth -- its a game to be played in good spirit -- failure to do so can only lead to ill will , bad feeling and violence.
I dislike intensely the congratulations being given to players when a penalty is awarded -- you don't win penalties -- penalties are for foul play by the opposition . yes players can be forced to hold on to a ball instead of release but is it really an occasion for back slapping and indulging in an open air love in . Scrum penalties are another thing entirely with most being awarded due to foul play by the team awarded the penalty nowadays if a scrum turns and /or go to ground or come up,9 times out of 10 it is because of boring or arm twisting by the front row.
A start to improving the set scrum would be reverting to a 3 /2 /3 formation with the back row binding on to the 8 and behind the second rows -- instead of assisting the front to bore by pushing in instead of forward.

McBurney is a hard-man, upfront twunt on occasion, rather All Blackish in his twuntery.
Zebo is a cowardly twunt; always has been.

We need at least 2 more McBurneys in the squad, for far too long we haven't had a proper hard cnut in the team.

As for sometwat in clownshoes who suggested that the hard edges need to be chipped off McBurney, my guess is that Willie Anderson will have been sat somewhere saying "that's my boy, hit him harder the next time & take no shyte from anyone".
I've yet to make my mind up on McBurney in terms of talent, but I have no doubt that a team needs a kunt or two and if he brings that he's halfway there. I hope the academy doesn't see it's role to churn out nice mild-mannered young men, I'd like to see a few hard nuts coming out amongst those with talent to burn.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
