Aye just as he was about to launch a takeover bid for Buddy Holly Airlines. A fellow passenger once advised me, "always sit at the back", why says I? "You ever hear of a plane reversing into a mountain?" he said and looked pleased with himself.

Alternatively... nobody ever died flying in an aeroplane...the sudden stop when it crashed into the ground has killed a fair few .
I wonder if Denver was listening to a Glen Miller eight track when he ran out of fuel?

As indeed did Payne Stewart and his party who ran out of oxygen and the plane flew on until the fuel was as exhausted as the passengers lives.
Then again, we could be splitting heirs.

As the dull end of a rugby week grinds to a halt and the new one comes tantalisingly into view, time to make the award, the first ever UAFC Warren Gatland of the Week.

It was never really a contest and the clear winner is ....................................... (drumroll) ......... Simon Zebastard Zebo.

I had hoped to bring you an interview with the winner every week, but when I turned up in Paris this morning to present Zebrother with his award ...............

Two poeple I know died flying in private aircraft , one I went to school with flew into the belfast Lough (Reason, unknown ) another flew into the mountain on the Isle of Man ( his Altimeter had been incorrectly set ) and he was flying a hundred feet lower than he though . Enough to put me off private aircraft .

I see the BBC has a copy of the Referees 6 page statement of the vile abuse directed to her by 4 spectators at the match, she stated that the crowd around them separated and disassociated themselves, now someone has leaked the report I hope someone in Coleraine has the dangly bits to out them.

Interesting, the Branch had that report, and by all accounts it’s very descriptive, why did the powers to be not hammer them, especially as it was not the first time they have had an abuse issue.

Who are Coleraine protecting and why.

They are well known, the club is a disgrace. Pity the police could not be involved.

What is so wrong is those at the Branch dealt with it so badly. That is a real issue to be addressed,
