Ulster Rugby continually makes mistakes.

Burns was always on a hiding to nothing coming to Ulster -- being seen as a replacement for PJ who had most of the supporters on his side when TSHTF and was then seen ,and still seen, by some as a block to inexperienced youth even though he is younger than PJ.

The fact about Burns is he is seen as a safe pair of hands -- play to the script out half, nothing to daring and nothing to stupid.

So far he and Cooney have got the team to the quarters not bad for guys who have to face we will never be happy bunch of supporters.

That said the major changes to the team which have made the most significant difference are in the back row and front of the forwards --- forwards win matches the backs define by how much.

It's a completely different sport. I wouldn't worry about 5 tackles and kick. It's so boring that their fans have nothing better to do.

I'd have Burns in my team ahead of both out halves we played against during the Euro match ups based on their performances against us.

If Burns only had one good kick to show for his performance as I have read from a couple of posters are they referring to his kick for Bobby B to score or his cross field kick on a six pence to Timoney who passed inside only for Reidy to butcher the opportunity, both were sex on a boot.

Harsh on Reidy, he was well tackled.
