We're seeded higher than Toulouse right? That means a home semi if they beat Racing?

Darren Cave is the dogs bôllocks.

No doubt they’ll cast him adrift at the end of the season

He hasn’t been a first choice pick for the past 3 coaches (including Dan) and i would rather see Hume getting game time as back up to Addison now as he seems like he has real potential. With Luke Marshall to hopefully come back as well I would expect to see Darren taking on extra shifts at Guilt Trip next season.

Cave i suspect is nursing latent injuries and is basically a break glass option

If Olding hadn’t been put on the export market he might already be retired .

A much under rated centre in his day whose international opportunities were blocked by the reputation and cotton wool treatment afforded to BoD .

Yes. His current contract is 12 months. UR - rewarding loyalty.

His club and international career were adversely impacted by the fact that he realised that Les Kiss was a complete dick - and told him so - long before the rest of us rumbled him.

There are players whose value to the team amounts to more than their performances on the pitch. Darren Cave is a perfect example of this. He can still manage ok in the centre, but his best days, and there were many, are behind him. But I'm certain he can still influence the rest of the squad by his enthusiasm in support of the team and his advice and example to our upcoming youngsters. When he eventually does retire, I'm sure we can go up to him, pat him on the back and say "Well done man. And it's great that you are one of our own."

Any sensible young player would do well to follow Darren's example and always be prepared to chat to him about his career and the way he went about his job. I suspect they could learn lots of lessons.

DC is great a pundit. He speaks very well and has excellent knowledge of the game. They seem to give punditry gigs to big name players. Admittedly even big 1F is a woeful pundit.
