What was the match where we could hear Rory saying to the ref that he had to look after his players, or words to that effect? Can't remember the exact words but I had a wee lump in my throat and a big proud heart when I heard it.

Serious leader. The way he conducted himself & lead the squad when we were imploding for nigh on 18months was a measure of the man. I hope the young players have taken note. You don’t need BOI gimmicky adverts......if you really want to know what it means to represent Ulster watch Rory’s interview. A player, a leader, an Ulsterman.

Huge boots to fill. I don’t see another Rory stepping out of that massive shadow anytime soon.

His interview should be played on repeat in the gym at Ravenspan during every session, along with the Nevin Spence Vid.
I hope he enjoys the rest of his life as much as we’ve enjoyed watching him play for Ulster.

Ultimate incentive for the team in the quarterfinals, win and get Rory that last hurrah in an Ulster shirt!

The NZ one when Ireland racked up a good lead, including a try from Rory, but they came back to win with the clock gone red, I think. The "almost" first win over the ABs.

Ireland's top flyhalf I think. Pity he's from north of the border, so can be disposed of for cash.

Reminds us that in business and in life it isn't the one who shouts loudest that is the leader. To have lead Ireland to never seen before heights is just amazing and I hope we as a province appreciate his achievements for years to come
