I should have time for a quick pint in Edinburgh on the way and be back home on Saturday to find out who we play in the final.

Followed by some fish and chips and Eurovision.

Joe's orders? I really hope they don't start messing with player's positions.

Mike Gibson played out half centre wing and full back for Ireland and the Lions . In a coaches approach there is no such thing as a players position -- what he sees are the needs of a team he may have 4 centres and no full back so he considers which of the four would do the best job at full back.

At the moment Ireland are heading towards Japan with a Full back prone to injury who's only claim to the position is basically he can run/ jump /and catch a high ball . He hasn't tackled in years and is losing pace thus if out of position there is the high possibility of the opposition scoring.

Joe has a number of options but each has it limitations because non of the other three provinces have a full back close to International standard . He basically has a number of back 3 players several of whom are more effective as erratic free spirits rather than playing to a game plan.. to the average fan in the stand great to watch -- for a coach its enough ot stain the underwear.

Stockdale IMO may be could be the least erratic and strongest of the group at full back while being possibly the least experienced defensively playing on the wing .

Tough on wee Rob but Louis is a bit more solid in defence. As good as we can put out, hopefully hendo can make the difference up front.

I actually like the idea of Jacob at 15.

Now we just need BB to shift out........of team.
