Not yet. The long term plan is: Taigs to the left, Prods to the right, Free P's to the far right and heathens behind the big screen. It's the Ulster way. :thumleft:
On aye ... Born again soldiers of Jesus in the premium seats and LGBT fans as far away from the family stand as possible. Norn Irn - celebrating diversity :thumleft:

They haven't done this before to my knowledge and there has been no obvious problem which needed this solution. I really don't understand why they (Eventsec/UR) feel the need to increase the amount of crowd management just for its own sake.
Question is whether it is Eventsec/UR or just Eventsec, and further whether that has been prompted by something/someone else (eg Council H&S)???

As you say, it seems strange to come up with answers to which there was no problem, but it wouldn't be the first time that has happened.

(BTW - you looked well on tele on Friday! ) :thumleft:

(For those who don't know him, you can guess which of the 13K+ he was)
Well Stuart had just taken a heavy blow right in front of me!

I wasn't sure whether it was UR or eventsec or both were behind the change but I must admit I do feel as if we are steadily becoming valued only for the money we spend on tickets, in the bars and the shop and not seen as any part of the Ulster Rugby family - tolerated but not welcomed. Maybe It's just a case of Eventsec wanting to be seen to be doing something to earn their fee.

Also on Friday night I was asked to remove my backpack which I had set in front of me just over the fence in order to keep it out of the drain at the bottom of the prom. Apparently is was very important that I kept it behind the fence.

You need to be careful or you'll be on a watchlist

Last time I was there, no bag searches
Can see bag searches being brought in

Bags were searched at every rwc game and sorries this year

Didn't search mine at the Olympic Stadium, just walked in without even showing my ticket

When not driving, I carry my "special flask" in a shoulder holster, so unless they start frisking, I should be okay.

Are there any written instructions as to what may, or may not, be brought into the ground?

I would have felt a standard hip flask was an essential element of the rugby gentleman's attire.
