First estimate:“It is likely that our training base will be at Ravenhill,” the Chief Executive (Shane Logan) said.
“We will have a shop, restaurants, additional hospitality for 3,200 people, a museum and an education centre to which we will aim to bring every school pupil twice during their time in education to learn about rugby, understand its values, to see players train and to hear from them about healthy living, good sportsmanship and no abuse of alcohol, drugs or tobacco so that, hopefully, they are inspired by the game.

Lets start with say 6 coaches per day each with 40 school children + teachers = 240 school children visits per day
Monday to Friday operation - 5 days per week = 1200 school children visits per week
Exclude July and August and a few other weeks - say a 40 week operation each year = 48000 school children visits per year
Years at school? - must average around 13 - in any 13 years = 612000 school children visits - total for 13 years
Bugger I nearly missed this - each to come twice!!!!!!!! = 306000 school children each visiting twice in a 13 year period
How many school children are there currently? - 331,040 (plus Cavan, Donegal and Monaghan)
Crap - estimate is way short of aim.
Need figures for Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan and then re-calculate.
What tweeking is required to achieve the aim?
