After the last RWC the IRFU came up with an NIQ policy that clearly hadn't been thought through and was widely ridiculed in the press.

Now it seems they have brought in Nucifora as an enforcer but nobody knows what the policy is.

Whether provincial complaints will be listened to through "official" channels I don't know but it sounds like time for the provinces to do some off-the-record briefings of journalists like Thornley so Nucifora's role can at least be brought out into the open for some scrutiny.

There is no one better than the IRFU for stabbing people in the back if they have outlived their usefulness.

Can't remember if it's "Community Chest" or "Chance" Rocky , but you appear to have picked up that card, "collect £10 from every player" , a small pleasure but not too much good if Boudjellel is sitting with hotels on Park Lane & Mayfair with a sneaky one on The Old Kent Road as well.

It's only a matter of time before a contract extension is announced for FUNW.

The Irish provinces are and always have been glorified franchises of the IRFU. We do what the man says, sign who we are allowed, play him in the position we are told to play him. Give the majority of our income to head office and receive a handout. We have little real autonomy as all major decisions are handed down as diktats from Dublin who make it clear that we exist to service the Ireland team.

Midi Olympic saying Vito signing announcement for La Rochelle tomorrow...
You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.

Then they are quite simply uninformed.

OK I'll edit that: ............ simply uninformed or lied to. >EW
