If McPhillips goes it will be very sad for Ulster and a thrown away opportunity for him as, down the line, I believe he will be our first choice out half and possibly a full international.
There must be loads of cash now available with all the departures so make him a decent offer Ulster Branch rather than helping outLeinster by taking one of their players for a year just to suit the IRFU.
