Tightly, Mena will win and win well.

I hope so ... but it's a big ask to beat Trinity.

CI winning a plate competition, a competition for losing teams of a cup , show the mentality of the club , by their bottom team wining at all costs it will be seen as a success , never mind their 1st XV getting relegated and only winning one game all season, that's the slippery slope, 3s win , all is good.

Another playoff this Sat between Strabane who came 2nd bottom of Q3 and Cavan 1sts who played in J3 this year. Civil Service finished bottom of Q3. Virginia 1sts finished above Cavan in J3.

Does mean that Virginia go up automatically to Q3 as they were the best placed 1st XV in the JL structure? Do Civil Service get relegated and take Virginia's place in J3? Similar question for Strabane if they were to lose v Cavan?

Sorry for all the questions.... :duck: :D

Final score in Clonmel is Clonmell 12 -26 Bangor the Try Bpt secured in the first half ensures the return of Bangor to Senior ranks in spite of some of the doubting Thomas's on this thread.
I think it is fair to describe it as clean sweep of Qualifying Rugby.
Enniscorthy will be heading for Sligo next Saturday hoping to join Bangor in the UBL next Season having beaten Westport today at Enniscorthy.

Be interesting to see Bangor's budget compared to that of the others. Might put the 'clean sweep of qualifying rugby' into perspective.

Well done to Bangor , but Aird if you think we all believe that some of the players are not getting above "normal expenses" then you are a fool or you think we are fools.

All is not good. There is something rotten in the state of Denmark..
I could still play for the 3's and look good... :banghead:

So stupid question alert....Bangor into the AIL next year, I heard yesterday that means Enniskillen go up to Q1 even though they lost to the playoff v Ards...true? If so that means a 3rd team from Q3 goes into Q2 - PSNI??

Coleraine students beat Donaghadee 29-5 and are in Q2 next year. Cavan from J3 beat Strabane in Q3 in playoff 17-10 also. Can teams like Strabane and Civil Service (last in Q3) actually go down to Junior League?

Anyone know how it works? :D

Any news of whether teams like Strabane and Civil Service (last in Q3) will actually go down to Junior League? Are Cavan up into Kukri Q3, and did Virginia get an automatic place in Q3? I think teams in Q1 and Q2 are now sorted, but still a lot up in the air as to teams that will make up Q3 next year. Does anyone have any news on this?
