Coleraine should be proactive as a club, show that they have dealt FULLY with the matter and DEMONSTRATE how, that might help
You will note I did not say that it may help to have Logan.

When I originally heard about this, I heard Coleraine were having difficulty identifying exactly who had said what on the day in question. I don't know if they ever progressed that further.

But like on Police Camera Action, it is difficult to prosecute the driver, if you don't know who was behind the wheel at the time.
The owner of the vehicle has a responsibility but, they just can’t say oh I don’t know who was driving, >EW
They can.
But that would result in a sanction, “your car is clocked for speeding and Peelers send out a letter asking we was driving, by saying you don’t know does not end the process”
No, and Coleraine got 'done', did they not?

Why Coleraine just won’t name the offenders is just getting silly. Put it down to gin infused banter, have a policy on gender equality and and send the three idiots to to WI for the day, other teams are being effected league games and now cup games with other teams talking of pulling out, now, that’s daft as the will get fined, bloody committee men.

I am surprised the Feminist Network is not all over this, culchy feminist with big udders outside Coleraine burning their bras, now, I would pay for that.

Is the problem that those accused deny saying what they are accused of saying.
I doubt the club could afford to be taken to court.

Does my napper in even thinking about it.

I don't even know what 'trans' means any more, and I suspect even those identify with the term would disagree with each other.

Well the problem there is, that Coleraine will have to play Cooke before a certain date, so If its a Saturday Cooke will have to postpone a game until a further date, Coleraine game will still not go ahead if in Coleraine or Refs decide that they have made their point. So there is a potential of two teams not getting a game due to Coleraine being stubborn. A fine suspended ( Ulster branches normal get out, anyone remember red card gate) is not a way to treat the abuse and is not a deterrent.

Why Coleraine just don’t name the buggers, or even do it internally with The Referees society happy at the outcome this will get messy. For the Coleraine players who have paid subs they must protest they are not getting games due to the blazers not wanting to tout on the alecadoos .easy option take 2 points of they each week they refuse to sort it. They will soon cough up at the fear of Q2. Do they really need a sponsor that much.

The in private bit may have legs, if done very carefully.

If I were, for example, a local business man, and Coleraine or the IRFU identified me as saying something which I disputed saying. An accusation which went on to harm my business/reputation, I think I'd be talking to my lawyers.

I'm not saying the IRFU would damage an innocent person's reputation by taking disciplinary action if they felt it was in the IRFU's best interest or anything. No, simply wouldn't happen.
