Should be a comfortable win - got 5 pts written all over it.

It's live on BT Sport so I'll probably give it a watch.

Sort of typical opening game, flashes of brilliance punctuated with flat spots with crowd not getting into it at all. We will have to play for the full 80 next week at Barf.
Niall Morris looks like he's a natural replacement for Geordie Murphy, some flashes of real skill and I'd like to see him stay at 15 and maybe put Tait on the wing, when he's he's fit.

Old Dan Cole
Is a merry old soul
and a bigger for his hole
Yes a very fine soul is he

However it appears that he managed to bite Worcesters outhalf "accidentally" and so the citing officer has been told - sorry, that should read "has found " - there is no case to answer.

One wonders will Cockers be as concerned about players biting as he was about young master Toby being gubbed my Dan's clenched fist and / or elbow ?

I rather fancy not.

The Worcester player didn't complain at the time because he knew it was an accident, nothing to see here..................

Tom Croft out for the season.
Ruptured ACL
You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.

Don't anyone laugh about this as remember what happened us last season.
Tough on Croft, hope he gets back to full fitness soon.

Big big loss for them - not only a big carrier but a line-out option too.

Despite the opinions of some on here, Croft will be a big loss. The only time that Croft doesn't look like a good player is when Stephen Ferris is on the pitch. That said, wouldn't mind One F being on the pitch by the time the Tigers come to town, with or without Croft at 6 for Leicester.

Tearing an ACL is bad craic. But could be a blessing in disguise for the tiggers. Less show ponies on the pitch for them.
