Bad start though.
Never wrestle with a pig. You end up covered in muck and the pig loves it.

Just like last week. A lot of guys who were playing out of their skins last season have come back down to earth with a slap. Muldowney and Henshaw are sorely missed.

Wouldn't be surprised if they try that again and give the money to the Turnips to run 2 stadiums which haemorrhage money faster than a blind poker playerUlsterNo9 wrote:Disband Connacht

Westies in Parma - 5:05 pm (UK time) KO. No TV coverage, but the same crowd http://www.therugbychannel.it who provided BBCNI with pictures last week, say they are streaming the game. It may be geo-blocked however. Also available through http://www.olweb.tv/arena-sport-2 (Serbia). This also may be geo-blocked.

I know they're not all injured and not all natural first picks but how can any club prosper with the equivalent of a team and five subs unavailable?

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Re: Connacht 16/17
I'd look on it more as a stay of execution, things are looking a tad grim for Connacht. I'm hoping they don't disintegrate but I suppose they genuinely have a mountain of injuries.

Re: Connacht 16/17
Game abandoned at half time so has to be a complete rematch. These are basement teams anyway so it won't have an impact on the league.
I'm all for keeping Connacht going as a developmental outfit, just as long as they don't drain resources needed elsewhere.
