I think that is the more likely scenario.BaggyTrousers wrote:For clarity, I assume you mean failing to get 2nd place rather than the 2nd place being a failure?big mervyn wrote:I see another glorious 2nd place failure loomingBR wrote:I think we could be Friday night.
I expect a third-place finish, 3 wins 3 defeats.

Would like to see the home game v La Rochelle on a Friday night rather than the usual Saturday lunchtime slot when the French come to town. The atmosphere for the early kick offs is pretty dead
Re the Wasps game, doubt the Ricoh arena ground staff would appreciate having a rugby match on the Friday night and then trying to get the pitch into some semi decent state for the Coventry game on the Saturday afternoon!

Re: Euro Draw 17/18
In terms of the Ulster progressing, 2 wins needed otherwise they are toast and can "concentrate on the league"
If they can win the 2 games and get to 21 points, should be in the QF. Would need to stop La Rochelle picking up a LBP/4TBP at Ravenhill if they want to win the pool, otherwise one of the runner up spots would be likely. The French lads will crush Quins in R6 and get max points.
21 points will be v tight for a home QF be it La Rochelle or Ulster - Bath and Toulon both have 13 and both still have to play Benetton - that group could be won with 22. sitting on 15. Would expect them to get max points from Castres at home, their game away at R92 will be the big one. Am assuming Clermont and the will secure home QFs.
Things should be a lot clearer after R5.

Daly and Hughes both to miss a month and perhaps more according to dai young. What's the odds they make a miraculous recovery for the Ulster game? If not that is a big boost.

That was a different incident which I don't think this citing is about, although at the time I thought the tmo would pick it up. The citing seems to be for the usual shoulder slam and attempt to wrap arms after, if sky are showing the correct clip.Russ wrote:Aye saw that in real timeDave wrote:Shouldered Cloete in the face.damianmcr wrote:Can you see what he has done wrong?Russ wrote:Tuilagi cited
