Round 6 Fixtures (All Games - UK KO Time):

Fri 6th Oct

7:35pm Caaaardiff v Dragons BBC2W
7:35pm Edinburgh v Zebre
7:35pm :red: v Westies BBC2NI/TG4
7:35pm Cheetahs v Glasgow BBC ALBA

Sat 7th Oct

2pm :mexican: v >THUH TG4/Sky Sports Arena & Main Event
7pm Treviso v :king: :king:
7:35pm Ospreys v Scaaarlets S4C

The East Wales derby is tricky to call. Edinburgh have already lost at home to Treviso and we all know what happened in Parma on Saturday - so who knows in that one.

Connacht have not won in Belfast since 1960. Got a 4 try BP at Scarlets, Ulster will have to show up this week if they want the win in the inter pro.

Cheetahs game is v interesting. A win over Glasgow would be a big statement. I read that the Scots will be based in Joburg all week and travelling up to Bloemfontein on Thursday as they cannot get a hotel in the city due to Test Cricket and a big music festival being on.

Big game on the Saturday at Lansdowne Road - always hard to call. Treviso should beat the Kings and Scarlets will be favourites to win the West Wales derby.

Couldn't believe John Lacey only YC one players after world war 3 broke out at one stage.
Will be surprised if the citing commissioner does not do Ryhs Webb in particular but others may also be called answer for their behaviour.
I think because of the numbers involved and the time it would have taken to sort it out and the subsequent effect on the game he chickened out.
If it had been two amatuer teams then the game would have been abandoned by the ref.

End of season playoff brought in to decide the 7th and last team into the Not the Heiny Cup. The 4th placed side with the better points total gets home advantage.

As the South African sides currently can't get into Europe, they would not take part in the playoff game.

Does that mean that the 5th place team can be the 4th placed side? In Conf A, Cheetahs are currently 3rd. Does that mean that Glasgow 1st, Munster 2nd and Zebre 4th are in qualification spots and Cardiff 5th in a playoff place?

In terms of Europe yes, the Cheetahs would still be in the end of season playoffs etc for the league title.
