Some chat that the Pro 14 final for 2019/20 season will be at the Cardiff City Stadium. Nothing official yet.

It beats me why these finals are in wendyball stadiums instead of supporting rugby stadiums

One is too big and one is too small I guess.

I’ve been to the footy ground naturally. Whilst it’s a million miles away from the savagery of Ninian Park, I was still too preoccupied with getting back to the station alive to remember much about it. Think we drew nil nil and it wasn’t as good as the Liberty.

Unless a Welsh side makes the final, a 33k stadium should be okay capacity wise.

I wonder how many would have been in Glasgow on Saturday for an Ulster Leinster final say?

How do they decide who gets it, is it still a tendering process?

Good question.

Was about 30k Glasgow and 15k Leinster I think.

Just a week to sort the travel and the accommodation.

Less than we took to Dublin I would have thought

I believe Cardiff Council/WRU submitted a bid. Don’t know if they were the only one.

They'd sold just under 25,000 tickets before the semi-final results.

Also during the last week Pro14 were offering tickets for kids for £1 so this must have boosted the numbers too.

The challenge no matter where you have the pro12 final is airport links and hotel accommodation within the Celtic nations.

How many flights are there to Cardiff out of Belfast to watch the game and come back without missing work for example.

Most people fly to Bristol with Easyjet for games in Wales. FlyMaybe do go to Cardiff but tend to be more expensive than the Bristol route.

You can also fly to Brum and take the train down, plenty of options for Cardiff
