Finally we have lift off :cowboy: thanks to fermain and his merry men :salut:

As we build towards the new season, we will be ramping up our content, so keep posted. With Ireland in NZ, we hope to bring you some of the lads' views on the last test, as well as the final one. Ulster will soon be back at the front of everyone's mind - we'll be publishing Barry's review of last season this week, and over the next week or two we'll be running a couple of pieces on what our contributors are expecting from Ulster next year.

By the time the new season starts, we hope to be posting new content on a regular basis - follow @UAFC_Ed for updates! :cowboy:

Before we turn our sights firmly onto next season, check out Barry's look back on last season - measured optimism I'd say! I think he's right that next season will be a make or break - you'll see what the lads think in the coming weeks!

Well I hope that you have enjoyed the efforts of the lads in our 'practice period' over the summer - I think that they have produced some cracking stuff; I've just posted a cracking article by Barry (plus colleague Andy - both fitness coaches by profession!) about what pre-season might look like for a pro rugby player, which I found fascinating - if a world away from my efforts in the gym!!

Things have inevitably been a bit quieter as we have entered into holiday season - and also bear in mind that I am not a 'real' editor, and the lads who have been writing are not 'real' writers, we are all volunteers, and real life has a nasty habit of intervening, and interrupting mid-article!! Anyway as we get towards the new season, things will step up again!

I should also say that we remain open to suggestions/ideas for articles from you all, and we have an open ear for any rumours or such-like - PM me! Obviously we won't be able to run with everything, but we're keen to hear from you! (It goes without saying that discretion is my middle name :cowboy: )

Anyway, I hope you're enjoying what we've been churning out, we'll try to keep it lit! :red:

With a new season upon us, and [fingers crossed] a fully-working messageboard, I am once again appealing for help running the board in the manner we all love to make it a place for all members. Whether it's volunteering as a moderator, or providing good content for the site, we are happy to consider any and all who want to contribute.

Please get in touch by PM in the first instance. :red: :fleg: :red:

I once made you an offer to sort out this place for the good of all. It wasn't so much thrown back in my face..............well, amazingly, totally ignored.

I know when I'm not wanted ...............goodbye. :D
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
