....backline is pretty average

I think against Scotland it's a pretty good backline, and if Marshall can keep a cool head will be more than enough for the Scots.
I'm really not sure what's pretty average about it?!

I am happy with the selection.

Can't see what issue people have with Dave Kearney. He scored 2 tries in his first game for Ireland.

Me too Shan but I have to say, I've seldom seen a greater irrelevance as that red sentence, he scored 2 tries against an exhausted Samoa playing with 13 or 14 men from time to time. You might well have scored one or both, I definitely would - 40 years ago.

That apart its all ok, I know who he will turn to when & if they are available, I suspect most do. No surprise.
