Engerland v Ireland

Lawes says England are going to "brawl" with Ireland.

Good luck with that ye lanky fecker. Should suit this Ireland team down to the ground.

POM will be a target for sure.

It will be interesting to see whether he can keep it together or if he becomes a liability during the game.

Would not be surprised to see completely different tactics from Ireland. I don't think they want to get into a slugfest with that big England pack and will not have such an easy ride with the rolling maul. Have to move them about till they're knackered.

Yeah, I think Joe has already shown he will work out what suits England and give them the opposite

Let Lawes crack on with that, he's always worth a yellow during a game anyway.

Farrell is the one that can be got at, we've all seen him lose the run of himself so if Ireland can't break him on 22nd, we should definitely target him come Qtr Final time :)

Fair play to Lawes. He has definitely cleaned up his act this season and is playing very well with a lot of newfound discipline, self restraint and confidence. He's matured into a good lock.

Should be an absolute belter. Hard one to call.
Climb up onto the top of your house and start screaming: 'stand up for the Ulstermen, stand.......'

I was near screaming at the screen on Saturday for POM to STFU. I thought the ref was going to sin bin him.

That's at least 2 TV screens that suffered similar abuse...

I'm sure POM has had / or will be receiving some 'feedback' on that.
I would be surprised and disappointed if he did it again.

I wish he had binned him. The match was won, and it might have done him some good.

To be fair, POM did have a valid point, not the way to do it, but it must have been very frustrating for him.
At least he didn't tell Barnes that he is a fecking eejit

I relish England trying to wind up Ireland and enter a battle. Will play right into Ireland's hands

I hope you're right. I'd like to think we are a little more savvy than they are.

Really really hard one to call. Would suggest Marshall will start to add more creativity to the back line, but it's so hard to predict, which, unlike the DK era, is no bad thing. The only definite positions would be the front and back row, second row too since Tuohy is now injured, would maybe have started him purely because of his carrying would be needed against a very decent English pack
