Re: U20 6 Nations
Pitch like 50 shades of clay.....
Re: U20 6 Nations
Lifting and laying the wains to/from youth club majorly got in the way of that. I watched the first and last 5 mins! Pitch was dreadful and there was some amount of snow at the ends. How did the Ulster lads get on?
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Re: U20 6 Nations
Superb performance from the U-20's to beat France 37-20. Four tries to two. Backline superb, Dow put in a fine shift in the back row.
Re: U20 6 Nations
Watched this after the Ulster game, I think we might have a couple of gems in Lorcan Dow and Sam Arnold (let's face it we are desperately short at 12 ) Good to see anyway, a seriously good U20s side. Leinster have some talent coming through with the likes of Byrne, Ringrose and Dardis.
Re: U20 6 Nations
The Ireland U20 team and replacements (sponsored by PwC) has been named for their third clash of the RBS 6 Nations Championship. The side will take on their English counterparts on Friday evening in Donnybrook Stadium.
Head Coach, Nigel Carolan has named an unchanged team to the one that overcame France in their last outing of the championship a fortnight ago.
That means Ulster duo Jack Owens (Queen's University) and Sam Arnold (Ballynahinch) line out in the backline, with Zack McCall, Alex Thompson and Lorcan Dow (all Queen's) starting in the pack. Ballymena pair Adam McBurney and Michael Lagan are among the replacements.
Carolan said, "We are in a good place mid tournament with two wins from two. While the display against France was very pleasing, the English side will bring a huge amount of physicality with them, so we know the challenge we face.”
"If we can match them in the physical department, we hope to reproduce a similiar performance like we did two weeks ago. The squad have worked very hard in training and are relishing the opportunity to play on a fast pitch at Donnybrook in front of a vocal home crowd.”
Tickets for this game are available from www.Ticketmaster.ie or at the gate on the evening. Prices start at €15.00 for adults and €5.00 for children.

Re: U20 6 Nations
Watching the U20 Ireland v England game. Gary Ringrose has just made a sizzling outside break to carve up the England midfield. This lad looks about ready for the full International team already. Some other talented players out there too.
Re: U20 6 Nations
Agreed about Ringrose.
I could see him making the full RWC in the autumn.
I may be damning him but the new BOD?

He's definitely got the tricks and a bit of star quality.Dublin4 wrote:Agreed about Ringrose.

I'm sure he'll be working on his defence.

Were you offyertits when you wrote that Spiffer? Everyone say he has a great career in front of him but when he forces his way into the Mexican team then we'll see how ready he is.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
