RWC 2023

Post by Cockatrice »

So no RWC 2023 for Ireland unless Northern Ireland changes its law on sales of alcohol…

Thought you were going to have a go at the squad there.

Start with Fatty Ross and Reddan
Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

Was alcohol such a consideration in getting the Woman's RWC to Ireland… imagine we complained that Twickenham didn't have enough drink for us at the Heineken Cup Final now we may lose a RWC because we are too tight on our sales..

That's not the issue

The issue is, a sports arena like Ravenhill does not have a permanent licence
It has to apply for temporary licenses every time it wants one

Logan was in front of the RA asking for them to change something and allow them a permanent licence

Renowned RA hater big jim then said Logan was going to sell beer to kids

Then the RA and ourlean were invited to the Hill, BoD was paid over £20,000 to fly in and Tommy Bowe was wheeled out as our token

Needless to say, without the permanent licence we are unlikely to see bars open late after games

Also needless to say this has been picked up on and is being used to attempt to open bars later in NI

Easy, waste money, have a review led by an American, all agreed, Bob's your Uncle!
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!

American will advise opening bars then DUP will accept his findings but refuse to agree so bars stay closed

There was no alcohol on sale in or around any of the stadiums for RWC 2007 in France so it hasn't been an issue in the past.

I invite you to study the picture below:

Observations:

1) Would you look at the hack of £26000 an appearance jackeen ballix, did the fool get dressed in the dark? How is it that a Dubliner gets dressed like a country yokel, brown brogues with checkie grey slacks????? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
2) Judging by the half smile, half WTF look on Tommy's bake Carol Ni Houligan has open her lunch and vented a rotten egg & onion effluvia from her ringpiece.
3) Poor Ould Arlene, is it her aversion to powersharing or would nobody houl' a ball with her?
4) Hendo's gutties, is he lookin' a part in Aladdin FFS?
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
