How good was the Scotland France match to watch. At last we had two teams who wanted to play front foot off loading rugby.Not quite the SH quality but certainly not the turgid defensive NH biff buff breakdown buff buff breakdown type we have been watching to date.
The press are talking about Scotland as one of the two weakest teams in the tournament,that's historical. If they bring their French game to Dublin can Ireland cope?

France will only get better, if they can make those offloads stick they'll hammer someone. Hope it's on Saturday night.

If Ferg can cover four positions, as he claims, then what is the need for Quiffy Madigan on the bench, since Jackson need only cover 10 (though I do think Jackson could cover 12 perfectly well, or even 13 if needed). Especially given that Henshaw, Earls and Payne also cover several positions between them.

Last pass to Heaslip looked forward to me.
