Welsh did give it a lash, but weren't able to keep up the pressure.

England are looking useful and worth their lead, but running the risk of sounding churlish, Australia are showing poor discipline.

Pretty average AB display but Wales asked them the right questions. Decent test.

29 12 to England with 23 minutes left.

Still the starting English pack and they're starting to batter the Aussies.

Ooh hold on, Hooper appears on the wing again and it's game on.

39 28 to England.

Interesting call by the Aussies to take 3 when they needed a converted try to draw with 3 minutes left.

That was the right call

It was brave and enterprising but I dunno if taking an option which comes off about 1 time in a 100 is right or not.

It's a game they want to win.

Just as predicted before.
Aussies are always a good fit for England as they traditionally lack Englands front 5 and set piece.
Its always a case of whether or not they can get a platform from those facets to play the way they can.

England now look the real deal.
Very impressed the way they came back from the early set back when other sides would have been potentially overwhelmed.

Jones showed his ability as a coach to change something that isn't working bringing on Ford for Burrell.
He didn't hang about and that one action changed the game.
Joe take note, the best coaches are flexible to change!

Hate to say it but Haskell was outstanding though he has been due a game over the last 5 years.

Things quite literally looking rosey and the Aussies looked shell shocked as it appears they didn't know what was coming.
They can't have that excuse next week but they are the one side that will learn.
Noone will know that better than Eddie.

The first 10 minutes were a bit like the Argies v Ireland but, as you say, they weren't fazed.

Big call when Foley's try was chalked off though.

Top effort at the end of a long season and sets up the series nicely.

Yeah - a draw would have been a good result from a series perspective and if they can scored direct from the lineout they might have had time for another score.

Not a Test, but this seems as good a place as any to post :

Chiefs 40-7 Wales

You wonder about the point of such matches when one side plays such a weakened team .......

....... Chiefs were missing 8 players on international duty. :duck:
I'm not arguing -
I'm just explaining why I'm right

21 -0 at half time.
Scott Williams at centre put in one of the most one dimensional brain dead performances you will ever see looking constantly for contact instead of moving the ball.
Blowing chance after chance.
Felt sorry for Gareth Davies and Morgan who looked a cut above
