Sexton out shocker - tight calf. Between Scannell and Keatley for no 22 shirt.

Sexton was probably never likely to make the team anyway but Jackson is well up to it anyway. The issue is with the bench 10. I hope Joe doesn't name Keatley just because he has a few caps. He is not good enough, Scannell may be.

POM was unlikely to get in the 23 anyway. SOB plays as long as he can walk and is covered on the bench by VDF. I assume VDF will therefore play at least 75 minutes against Scotland.

Joe won't be happy if Trimble doesn't make it.

At least he hasn't been promoted to Ireland Manager. :D

The last time we had a Louth guy as an Ireland international for a long time he ended up as national team head coach. Now that was in association football but it could happen again.

Bob with a short stint as Ireland Manager before taking over Joe's job. Dave will be backs and attack coach while Bob will take care of defence himself. Given their strengths nothing can go wrong.

Looks like Joe is going to name Keatley on the bench. Also seems that Trimble won't make it and Bowe will be on the bench.

Keatley is the best back up fly half option available

Im more concerned with naming Bobbo

The leaked team has Earls/Trimble at 14 and Bowe at 23
Maybe one isn't fully fit or they're waiting on someone

Leaked side also has Ryan and SOB starting. Between Hendo and Dillane for no 19 shirt

Great news, looks like certain defeat approaching.

#fu@ktheFIRFU

I'll be watching in a pub in Derry as yet name unknown, having trudged around the city walls with my ould mate John, a reformed banker turned tour guided and a dead ringer for a biblical prophet - looks wise of course.

I daresay when I cheer each of Tommy Seymour's tries some may take offence. :D
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
