Most points scored v SA and biggest winning margin.

Great line speed in defence. Take note Ulster...

Good win in the end albeit against average opposition. Both wingers scoring which is always great. Some excellent lead up play but must be put in context. Still it is a very encouraging start to the international season.

Les will be shaking his head watching that. He's probably texting Joe concerned about the lack of choke tackles. He'll also put Stockdale back onto the bench.

They've revised him to 7.5/10 but that's still low

You cannot take any of that seriously - shoor they even thought Ireland were playing in green

Obviously watching a different match. :duh:

Do you think the named players were playing two matches at the same time?

Player ratings is always a load of ballix. The ratings are almost always too high. Conway getting 9 is ridiculous. No player today should really have got as high as 7. Stockdale and Conway would be two of the highest ratings which in reality would be about 6 and 6.5 respectively. I'd give Sexton a 6 also. Bobbo would get 4.5 and lucky to get that but I am in a charitable mood.

A good win but the score line flatters Ireland.

SA forwards were betrayed by a woeful SA backline little guile ,bad handling ,and it's hard to identify anything they did right.
I have rated Conway ever since he played in the under 20's his problem was Zebo and Earls were the Munster wings and both excellent finishers at Pro 12 level where their defensive weaknesses were seldom exposed .

To get games he was having to play full back but never seemed totally confident in the role .

Barring injury I think Conway and Stockdale maybe we'll be the wings in the next World Cup.

But Joe needs at least 2 more wings and Two fullbacks .

The RTE ratings for most players are reasonable but distorted by a 9 for both Sexton and Conway based on the team ratings the ratings for both should be 8 -8.5 the same as Henderson .

As I state a nice win but nobody gave a great performance it wasn't a game for great performances basically very scrapie with SA backline incompetence assisting to provide a pressure free comfort zone lead for most the game .

Naw. The SA forwards just as bad as the backs and were bullied by the Irish pack. They were munched in several scrums and at ruck/maul. They are big and powerful but have little organization. That was a comprehensive humping of a poor quality Bok team.

There was no chase whatsoever from their backs when they kicked deep. It was almost comical how much time Rob K had to field each punt in his direction.
