Poor performance but a win is a win, positives were Easterby again, Murphy just and Ryan Jones absolutely superb, should be in at eight. Quicker than Corry, picks better lines than Corry and reads a game better. He won't be though because Woodward is coach.

Jones had a stormer but still expect Clive to go with Corry.

Easterby was solid enough and Murphy was OK, will be disappointed his handling wasn't better. No real excuse as the conditions were pretty good. Another decent display from DOC as well.

D'Arcy was poor again, Hickie was so-so and neither has any chance of making the test 22 now.

ROG brought a bit of variation into things with the cross-field kick for Easterby and the grubber for Murphy. Bit more luck with the bounce and the scoreline would have been much more convincing.

Poor first half, second half much better, still far from perfect.

also noted a Banbridge Ulster flag.

SCW said both before and after the game that he pretty much knows his Test 22 and that none of them will be involved against Southland on Tuesday. Makes tomorrow's team announcement interesting. Also means that a lot of the team will not have played since the Maori and Wellington games - underdone perhaps??
