Zookeepers at Denmark’s Odense Zoo had to intervene after a gay penguin couple kidnapped a chick from another couple.

One of the males had previously tried brooding on stones. But when they saw the young chick briefly unattended on Monday, they swooped in.

After the chick was reunited with its parents, keepers decided to give the gay penguins an egg from a mother who had previously abandoned chicks and eggs.

One of the prospective fathers is now happily brooding on the egg.

According to zoologist Mikkel Stelvig, homosexuality is rather rare in the animal kingdom, but when it happens it is usually among penguins and other birds.
This is what happens when you allow gays to get married. Tis shackin' :D :D

Ah, sure it was just looking for the jacks. :D
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

I was in picking up a few bits and pieces in Centra yesterday evening.....

Overheard two elderly ladies chatting, one was inquiring whether the other ones grandson had gotten a job yet, I nearly fell over in the isle with the response.

"Nat at al, that boy! sure if there was work in the bed he'd sleep on the floor"

There's an article in today's FT "Austerity, Brexit and the Bank of England" by Gavin Davies (big cheese, ex Goldman Sachs, ex BBC)
In the comments Martin Wolf, a senior FT journalist, makes rather undiplomatic responses to a couple of posters.

@Sensiblelaw

"How exactly do you “end” that?"

Stop wasting money, stop playing dumb and start cutting taxes once the book is balanced :-)

@Sensiblelaw You are entirely mistaken. Indeed, I cannot imagine how you came by that idea.

Jamie Bwyson should invest in a tank of Xenon.

… on second thoughts, maybe we should club together and get him a tank of Radon.
