2015 - The General Election - Discussion Forum

Post by HwoodMike2umate »

Well for those not interested in Formula 1 maybe this Discussion Forum will have more appeal. And to start the ball rolling lets have a brief history of Westminster Elections - think 1966 is the first one I can remember albeit vaguely - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Un ... _elections

Interesting Fact Number ONE (in a short series of 100) :- In 1892 the voters of East Belfast elected a German to Westminster. I never new that until today. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belfast_Ea ... stituency)

Paxman is just a poor man's Vincent Browne, but he'll have to do.

Compared to what currently sits in East Belfast , a German or even a dogs collar would be better.

Paxman makes good tv but he doesn't let the interviewee answer his or her question. It turns into a shouting down competition which he always wins. Milliband is too weak for that environment.

Did he ask, "what's the capital of South Dakota?"
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

No, but he did ask him if people would prefer his brother as PM which was rather rogueish and amusing
